The Nederman Group is determined to reach climate net-zero by 2050, as set out by the UN Paris Agreement. To help us get there, we have committed to the Science Based Target initiative.

Energy efficient fans for textile production-one example on how we contribute to our customers sustainability work

 

Considering that the industry sector account for approximately 24 percent of total global greenhouse gas emissions, energy savings in the textile industry are highly relevant. During 2023, the Process Technology division and Luwa introduced their new axial flow fan with carbon fibre blades for textile plants. Carbon fibre blades are known for their light weight but also high strength, providing optimal performance in an air conditioning system. Accordingly, the new fan helps to maximise the efficiency of textile manufacturing throughout the world, provides a healthier work environment and reduces greenhouse gas emissions
